.about my art
For the past 10 years I have been doing exhibits for the city of Boston and city hall about Black History and people of different cultures.
Although Black History month has been important to me. Most importantly people of all cultures are just as important, and everyone month different cultures are celebrated.
Most people forget those that sacrificed their lived their lives for all of to have what we have today.
Black History includes Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Rosa Park and other men and women of all cultures.
My works are called visual language. They have been seen throughout the Boston area, the Boston School System and libraries in the surrounding areas.
My visual art is a combination of different medias combined into one, which consists of many different types of art forms, painting, photos, drawings, poetry and a host of other things
Visual Language: a picture is worth 1000 words and have more power than words on paper. It is important to remember history so we don't repeat history in our future. Today's children have lost site of our history and the rights they have today.
Our children and the people of this world cannot afford to forget our past, it is those of the past that sacrified and created the freedom and rights that we have today.
